For the summer of 2024, I will go to Ethiopia and continue to provide assistance for Ethiopian children. I am now launching the GoFundMe. The funds collected will allow me to personally deliver the immediate needs of orphans who are supported by Sele Enat Charity Organization (SECO). SECO is a licensed, non-profit organization located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. SECO provides holistic support for children by temporarily keeping orphaned children in the care center, providing assistance with the adoption and foster care process, reunifying trafficked children with their families, providing financial support for select students, empowering house-headed women with resources to begin businesses, etc. I selected SECO, among many similar organizations, because SECO phenomenally impacts children, though they struggle from a scarcity of resources. Therefore, these funds will be provided to SECO to support their mission in an effort to stimulate the growth of the future of Ethiopian children.
